Requesting and Managing Time Off

ZonaPlan lets team members request time off and managers approve or deny requests.

Submitting a Time Off Request

  1. Go to **Time Off** from the sidebar
  2. Click **Request Time Off**
  3. Select the dates you need off
  4. Add a reason or note (optional)
  5. Submit the request

Approval Workflow

  • Your request goes to organization admins and assistants
  • They can **approve** or **deny** the request
  • You'll be notified of the decision
  • Approved time off appears on the team calendar

Viewing Time Off

  • **Your requests**: See all your submitted requests and their status
  • **Team view** (managers): See all team time off requests in one place
  • **Calendar**: Approved time off shows on the organization calendar

Time Off and Scheduling

When time off is approved: - The team member won't be expected to clock in on those dates - Project managers can plan around absences - The calendar reflects who's available each day
