Understanding Notifications

ZonaPlan keeps you informed with real-time notifications across web and mobile.

Types of Notifications

• **Task Updates**: When tasks are assigned to you, updated, or completed
• **Clock Reminders**: Geofence-based reminders to clock in or out
• **Invoice Updates**: When invoices are sent, viewed, or paid
• **Approval Requests**: When items need your approval (change orders, selections, time off)
• **Team Activity**: When members join, leave, or change roles
• **Safety Alerts**: When incidents are reported or inspections are due
• **AI Actions**: Confirmations of AI-executed commands

Push Notifications (Mobile)

Enable push notifications on mobile: 1. Open the ZonaPlan app 2. Allow notifications when prompted 3. Or go to **Settings** → **Notifications** to configure later

Web Notifications

Enable browser notifications: 1. Open ZonaPlan in your browser 2. Click **Allow** when prompted for notifications 3. Or configure in **Settings** → **Notifications**

Managing Notification Volume

If you're getting too many notifications: 1. Go to **Settings** → **Notifications** 2. Disable categories you don't need 3. Keep critical alerts (safety, approvals) enabled 4. Consider using digest mode for less urgent updates

View all notifications in one place: - Click the bell icon in the navigation - Unread notifications are highlighted - Click a notification to go directly to the related item - Mark all as read to clear the list
