Managing Tasks and Task Groups

Tasks are the building blocks of every project in ZonaPlan.

Creating Tasks

  1. Open a project and go to the **Tasks** tab
  2. Click **Add Task**
  3. Fill in the task details:
  4. Save the task

Task Groups

Organize related tasks into groups for better structure: 1. Click **Add Group** to create a group 2. Name it (e.g., "Foundation Work", "Electrical Rough-In") 3. Drag tasks into the group or create tasks within it 4. Groups can be collapsed/expanded for easier navigation

Task Statuses

Tasks follow a lifecycle:

REQUIRE_INSPECTIONWork done, needs verification
DONECompleted and verified

Task Options

  • **Require Inspection**: Mark tasks that need verification before they can be marked DONE
  • **Require Media**: Force workers to upload photos when completing the task
  • **Attachments**: Add documents, drawings, or photos to a task
  • **Comments**: Team members can discuss the task with threaded comments

Bulk Actions

Select multiple tasks to: - Change status in bulk - Reassign to a different team member - Move to a different group
