Creating an Estimate

1. Go to **Estimates** from the sidebar
2. Click **Create Estimate**
3. Enter project details:

Adding Line Items

1. Add line item groups (e.g., "Demolition", "Framing", "Electrical")
2. Within each group, add individual line items:
3. Totals calculate automatically

AI-Powered Estimates

ZonaPlan can generate estimates using AI: 1. Describe the project scope in plain language 2. The AI generates a detailed line-item estimate 3. Review and adjust the generated items 4. Fine-tune pricing and quantities

Sending Proposals

Convert your estimate into a professional proposal: 1. Finalize the estimate 2. Click **Create Proposal** 3. Add terms and conditions 4. Send to the client for review 5. Track whether they've viewed it

From Estimate to Project

Once a client accepts your estimate: 1. Convert it directly into a ZonaPlan project 2. Tasks are created from the estimate line items 3. Budget is set from the estimate total 4. You're ready to start work
