Getting Started with AI
- Go to **AI** from the sidebar (web) or tap the AI button (mobile)
- Type or speak your request
- The AI processes your request and takes action
What Can the AI Do?
The AI assistant can: - **Create Tasks**: "Create a task to install kitchen cabinets in the Smith project" - **Clock In/Out**: "Clock me in to the downtown project" - **Create Projects**: "Create a new project for 123 Main Street bathroom remodel" - **Create Notes**: "Make a note that the client wants marble countertops" - **Create Invoices**: "Create an invoice for the Johnson project for $5,000" - **Update Projects**: "Mark the Smith project task for framing as complete" - **Answer Questions**: "How many hours did the team work this week?"
Voice Commands (Mobile)
On the mobile app: 1. Tap the microphone icon in the AI screen 2. Speak your command naturally 3. The AI transcribes and processes your request 4. Confirm the action before it executes
AI Memory
The AI remembers context from your conversations: - Previous requests and preferences - Project details and team structure - Your common workflows
AI-Generated Estimates
The AI can generate project estimates: 1. Describe the project scope 2. The AI generates a detailed estimate with line items 3. Review and adjust pricing 4. Save or convert to a proposal
Permissions
The AI respects your role permissions: - It can only perform actions you're authorized to do - Sensitive operations require confirmation - All AI actions are logged in the activity feed
